Mission
To Honor & Empower wounded warriors.
Vision
To foster the most successful, well adjusted generation of wounded warriors in this nation's history.
Core Values
Fun, integrity, loyalty, innovation, service
Purpose
1. To raise awareness & enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members.
2. To help injured service members aid & assist each other.
3. To provide unique programs & services to meet the needs of injured service members.
History
WWP began when serveral veterans & friends, moved by stories of the first wounded service members returning home for Afghanistan & Iraq, took action to help others in need. What started as a program to provide comfort items to wounded service members has grown into a complete rehabilitative effort to assist warriors as they recover & transition back to civilian life.
Call to Action
Massachusetts has more than 30,000 VFW members. If each one contributes $5.00, we can raise almost $150.000 for our Wounded Warriors!
